Humboldt State University is authorized to provide
short-term leasing of University facilities to unaffiliated groups who are
either a government agency; a non-profit charitable, educational, or
character-building organization; or a group or individual, for educational
or noncommercial purposes. For the complete policy for the Use of
University Facilities, please refer to Executive Memorandum P90-03.
To
request use of a University operated facility, please follow the steps
listed below. Please execute these steps as much in advance as possible. A
MINIMUM of three (3) weeks is necessary for processing a lease. A fully executed agreement and required proof of
insurance must be received by our office prior to first use.
Step 1: Review the
Making a Reservation and the
Rental Rates
for University Facilities information.
Step 2: Acquire verbal reservation
confirmation from the representative of the facility you wish to use .
Step 3: Submit the
Request for Use of University Facility
form to the representative mentioned in the previous step.
Step 4: Read and understand the
Lease Of
Facility Terms and Conditions
and
Lease of
Facility Insurance Requirements
then request the required Certificate and
Endorsement documents from your insurance provider.
Step 5: Prepare
for
Parking Arrangements
on the campus for your event.
Step 6: Sign two sets of the Lease
Agreement when you receive them. Keep one set for your records and return
one set to us as soon as possible.
