Life Through Time Exhibit

The Museum's fossils collections comprise one of the great strengths of our exhibits. This series of thirteen display cases illustrates the evolution of the Earth and life from the origin of Earth to the present day.

Local Natural History Exhibits

The Museum continually adds new specimens and exhibits (including live animals) to help visitors understand and appreciate our local environment. Watch for Museum sponsored classes and field trips as well.

Living Exhibits

See live local animals including: northern alligator lizard, western toads, Pacific tree frogs, Northwestern salamanders, rough skinned newts and a wide variety of tidepool organisms from sea stars to sculpins! Other exhibits with live animals are our living honey bee hive and the walking stick exhibits.

Interactive Exhibits

The Museum encourages you to touch and interact with many of our exhibits. There is a fossil dig box, three interactive computer kiosks, fossil touch shelves, Discovery Boxes and more!

Fossil Focus Exhibits

Explore our collections in more detail in cases devoted to one specific group of organisms such as Trilobites, Echinoderms, Plants, Insects, Stromatolites and more.

Prehistoric Mammals of the Cenozoic Exhibit
