This is an example of an ISMAP or clickable map image. An ISMAP consists of three parts; a graphics file, a map file and some HTML code which link the map to the image.

The .map file does several things.

1. The default is the URL you will follow if you click outside a defined button.

2. The shape of the button or object you define, in this case a rectangle is stated.

3. The URL you will follow for each button is defined.

4. The location of each button or object within the graphic image is defined.
