Anonymous FTP on the Web Server (Sorrel)

1. Get an account on the Sorrel.
2. Ask for an FTP directory. 
(We will create a directory in your name under
 /web-0-g/usr/users/ftp/pub).
3. Anything you put in this directory can be seen 
and downloaded by everyone on the Internet.
You will be the only one who can write in this
directory.		
	


	To see your ftp directory on the Internet

1. Use a Web Browser, Mosaic or Netscape
2. Use a URL of ftp://sorrel.humboldt.edu/pub/username
3. Or use a regular command line ftp program.
