- Econiche identification for Cantharellus cibarius and
Boletus edulis at Patrick's Point State Park; continuation
of studies began in 1992 on the phenology and ecology of fungi
commercially harvested fungi. Sarah graduate in May, 1998 and
is presently working towards her Ph.D. at the University of Wyoming
in the laboratory of Steve Miller.

- Marcos will study the systematics in the genus Gymnopilus
in California. He plans on comparing morphological species, biological
species, and phylogenetic species.

- Cheri Sanville (cjs13@axe.humboldt.edu)
- Cheri is studying the ecology of riparian fung in a Sitka
spruce dominated ecosystem. She has three different plots, one
in Patrick's Point State Park, one in Big Lagoon Environmental
Study Area, and one in Prairie Creek State Park.
- Mark Steiger (abies@sisqtel.net)
- Thesis: Ecology of the montane chanterelles (Cantharellus
cibarius and Cantharellus subalbidus). May, 1997. Mark
is presently working in the Klamath National Forest near Klamath
Falls, Oregon.
- Cynthia Willis (archer@humboldt1.edu)
- Investigation of the volatile compounds found in the monokaryotic
mycelium of various species of Pleurotus. She has finished
her research and is writing her thesis. Presently, she has entered
the medical program at the George Washington University where
she is working towards her M. D. degree.
