Davisomycella montana; causes chlorotic areas on the tips of needles in lodgepole pine.

 

Rhytisma acerinum; tar spot of maple; causes necrotic areas in big leaf maple

Lophodermium pinastri; causes needle blight of ponderosa pine.

 

Rhadocline pseudotsugae; cause needle blight of Douglas fir; pictures show two rows of phacid-type apothecia on each side of needle.
