Requirements for the Computer Science Major

A minimum grade of C must be earned in all core courses required for the major.

Requirements for the Computer Information Systems Major

A minimum grade of C must be earned in all core courses (CIS & Math) required for the major.

    or Math 105 Calculus for Biological Sciences & Natural Resources

  • CIS 291 - Data Structures in C++
  • Math 253 - Discrete Math
** With prior department approval , three of the following may be substituted for CIS 110 : CIS 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 180C or 180L, 271, or CIS 272 (These 1-unit courses are five week modules in word processing, spreadsheeting, database, graphics software, microcomputer operating systems, networking, and special topics for the microcomputer).
