The University Police Department provides an automated service for criminal history background checks that may be required as a condition of employment, licensing, certification, or foreign adoptions clearances.

Applicants must get instructions and the forms required for fingerprinting services from the agency requiring their criminal history background check.

Note - Beginning August 1, 2006, ink fingerprint cards will no longer be accepted . Only Live Scan digital request forms will be accepted. The following bulletin has more information.

Hours

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. No appointment necessary!

After Hours

Other local agencies may be able to provide service after hours. Please contact your local police department for their Live Scan hours.

Fees

Department of Justice fees vary upon service requested.

In addition, there is a $15.00 rolling fee for HSU students, faculty and staff. The rolling fee for community members is $20.00.

Payment can be made via cash, check or debit card only. Credit cards are not accepted.

Must have a current state photo ID or a valid passport.
