Welcome to the Humboldt State University Sponsored Programs Foundation. We want to help you be successful in furthering your scholarly and programmatic objectives. Our primary mission is to provide the Humboldt State University community with professional and accessible pre- and post-award grant and contract services. We administer virtually all externally-funded grants and contracts and submit proposals to external funding agencies on behalf of the University. Some of our grant and contract services are listed below:
- Assist faculty and staff in identifying funding sources
- Offer grantsmanship workshops
- Oversee institutional routing process for submitting proposals
- Establish project budgets
- Administer extramural projects
- Maintain a web-based financial reporting system for Principal Investigators
- Oversee project close out and final financial reporting to funding agencies
- Administer various campus small grant and incentives programs

The Budget Guidebook provides information to assist you in developing budgets for grant/contract proposals. You may download forms (e.g., institutional routing, conflict of interest, level of effort, travel claim, purchase request) from our web page and consult the payroll schedule.
